   Quelle belle surprise je tiens là ! Le cover est vraiment moche (et pas du tout dans le bon sens du terme), du coup je croyais avoir affaire à des amateurs encore en train de chercher une identité. Mais c'est très loin d'être le cas, même si ça n'a rien d'innovant ni quoique ce soit du genre, c'est quand même vachement efficace.

C'est du Black Metal assez oldschool qu'on a déjà écouté, mais qui est drôlement bien exécuté ici. Il y a quelques moments où les arrangements ne sont pas du mieux qu'on pourrait trouver (milieu du titre The Beast Within par exemple), mais globalement c'est excellent. Les riffs sont bons, et même si leur sonorité n'est pas très variée on ne se lasse pas pour autant. La musique est assez mélodieuse dans l'ensemble, tout en gardant un certain aspect "Raw" plutôt agressif.

Mais ne pensez pas que la production est pourrie à cause de ça. Même si c'est une démo auto-produite, la production est très correcte. On distingue très facilement les instruments les uns des autres, les riffs etc. et le chant est très bien mixé dans le tas, ni trop mis en avant ni trop mis en arrière. Seule la basse n'est pas vraiment audible, mais c'est du Black Metal après tout.
